Veto Pro Pac Review - Model LC

Tool Box Buzz: "Until recently I hadn’t been a big fan of “Tool Bags” because frankly none of them have ever really impressed me. Moreover carrying around a Tool Box isn’t much fun either. Well I’m happy to say that I’ve found a Tool Bag System that has me very excited and I think you will be after reading about it.

I'm on the fences about these bags. Right off the bat i wanted to say they really would only be good for a scenic or Electrician. However if you take the time and look at their larger closed and open top models I can start to see their advantages over normal brands like Husky and such. The pocket location and how the large open & closed tops are laid out is how I prefer to organize my tools. If they are really durable too, i would buy one of the larger ones to replace my not so good husky. Though i do like the side saw pocket on my Husky.

This looks like a nice bag. I would be interested to get my hands on it. Not being a carpenter, I would transform it to a Stage Manager's kit. I currently use a small traditional too box. This looks as if it would give me some more organization. However, then I looked at the prices and HOLY CRAP, that is a bit out of of the price range of what I would even consider paying. Why in the hell are they so much? Are they rugged enough to contain a bomb? Not that I need that feature... I have seen various incarnations of SM kits but have never seen a bag like this.

Geez, I'm such a tool nerd. I'm also a princess with how I store and use my my 1) computer 2) tools 3) papers 4) books and just about anything else I interact with. I always seem to be looking for the "perfect" solution to my storage issues. These bags seem to have gotten some things right but like Jimmy I'm on the fence. Vertical is always better. I reach for and use my tools by their handle (this also protects the working ends of them); this means I identify them by their handles, too. Layout that makes sense is essential (something I lack a lot of in my current husky bag). As much sense as these bags make, I'd need to take a closer look at it (in person, preferably) especially before I dropped $100+ on one. I've bought too many tools totes and bags and kits that have ended up being wastes of money before...
