Fred Garbo's Inflatable Theater Co. ready to pump up audiences
Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: "The stage of the Byham Theater this weekend will look like a scene from the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, with giant, inflated, balloon-like characters entertaining audiences."

I was just recently downtown by the Benedum and saw the advertisement for this performance and was admittedly curious. So upon reading the article I find this really intersting. Even though it doesn't have a plot I think that something like this is a great way to get people reinterested and change any negative conorations about the theater
This seems like an interesting type of theater that Fred Garbo brings to Pittsburgh. Using technology that traditionally was used for parade balloons in the theater is something I have never heard about and I would really want to see it. It is somewhat funny the way in which this type of theater was created. Connecting with the inventor of this hot air balloon technology finding out about how he could make things for theater from the same technology was quite unique. It is startling that he has been using this technology for 20 years and now Cirque Du Soleil is using this idea of inflatable in there set of their touring show. I hope to see a show that would be produced on a large scale that uses inflatable in the show.
