The Cole Drill
Toolmonger: "The Cole Drill is a type of ratchet drill that consists of a post assembly clamped to the workpiece (such as an I-beam or large tube) and a drill assembly attached to the post that feeds downwards by a screw and turns with a concentric ratchet. The assembly allows great drilling pressure at low speed so that large diameter holes can be drilled in steel entirely by hand."

It's easy to forget in our shop - and our industry as a whole - that occasionally hand tools are better suited for a job than power tools. Most of the time we want to go fast and have a tool that will allow that, but occasionally a hand tool will do the job better, faster, or more easily. My high school woodshop had a hand-powered drill press mounted to the wall, which I enjoyed for it's simplicity. As an added benefit, it cut cleaner because it's bits were almost never used and thus still sharp.
I would be pleased if all WebPages provided such articles. http://simplehandyman.co.uk/best-cordless-drill-uk-reviews/
