This is so cool. The design process behind how the tail has to function and deciding what materials are best to make it out of must have been great. Its a tech dream.
Wow, what a fun project to work on.
I'm excited to see what else can come out of the prosthetic field that can be used for theatre.
Very cool idea! It would have been interesting to work on this project and see the build of a mermaid tail. It would be interesting to see what other cool lower forms could be made similar to the mermaid tail.
This is probably one of the most interesting and beautiful gestures ever. For a company to simply design a full blown costume for the disabled, putting their own work aside and thinking of others. The idea itself is brilliant. And like the video said functional and beautiful!
I think it's great that such a prominent and busy company wants to take time to serve an individual with a challenging request. The tail must have been a lot of fun to work on.
This is amazing!!! What a fantastic idea! You don't often think about all of the considerations that go in to something as it is being designed, and to design something so graceful and beautiful and functional is truly a work of art.
The way this design came out is really amazing. For something to look so graceful while at the same time being entirely functional in water is impressive.
