This day was the most powerful and devastating day that the US has experienced in my lifetime so far. We haven't heard all of the stories of those affected by 9/11, and I think that this is a show that will not highlight the positive stories, but will focus on some of the sadder, more devastating stories. I think that is almost one of the most powerful things that you can do onstage, to retell and portray the true stories of things that have happened to people in our world.
It is so powerful to hear the tragic individual stories of everyone involved in 9/11. It really takes you back before all the politics, the partisanship of the war, the head ack that is today. It easily helps you remember what we stand for as a country and who we need to get back to being. I bet this would be an extremely powerful performance of recovery and growth.
