The Ohio State Murders - Adrienne Kennedy

New York Times: "ADRIENNE KENNEDY’S mother used to enthrall her over breakfast by vividly recounting the dreams she’d had the night before. And Ms. Kennedy’s father captivated her — and audiences among Cleveland’s African-Americans of the 1930s and ’40s — with his uplifting orations on how blacks must move forward. Today, at 76, this celebrated playwright has come to recognize a melding of her parents’ narrative styles in her own work. “In spite of the fact that I’ve always thought I was influenced by ‘Antigone’ and Lorca,” she said, “it’s now clear to me that in everything I’ve ever written, I was trying to do what my parents did.”"

What intrigues me the msot about this play is the apparent leaping time frames. I cannot say I've ever seen a show where they continually change epochs and I would like to see how, or if she can pull it off. In addition, I the title captiviates me. I want to see its relation to the story.

I like how inspiration came for all of the sudden. As well as how something that is so dense can all of sudden become clear so that story can be found.
I hope that the project is successful and it will probably be interesting to watch.
