Nov. 4: Carnegie Mellon Tartan Racing Wins $2 Million DARPA Urban Challenge

Carnegie Mellon University: "A self-driving SUV called Boss made history by driving swiftly and safely while sharing the road with human drivers and other robots. The feat earned Carnegie Mellon University's Tartan Racing first place in the DARPA Urban Challenge."

THIS IS SO COOL!!!!!
It's so crazy to hear stuff like this about CMU and then realize......wait......I GO here! It's just great to read about events like this and to see how CMU is taking risks to achieve something great. I love it!

I saw this on Youtube. The Stanford one looked awesome. It had like laser detection systems all around and drove itself. It was awesome.
