Rupert Holmes - Curtains
New York Times: "He had chosen the location for a couple of reasons. First, it was down the block from the Al Hirschfeld Theater, where “Curtains,” the John Kander and Fred Ebb musical for which Mr. Holmes wrote the book, is currently previewing. (It opens next Thursday.) But the studio also has sentimental value. It was here that Mr. Holmes recorded the demos for what would become his first Broadway musical, “The Mystery of Edwin Drood.”"
