Jump Cut: Hope for Arts Funding

Burlington Free Press.com: "The Legislature is considering a proposal by the Vermont Arts Council to increase its budget by $180,000 to support a new grant program for local arts organizations. This money should be approved. It's crucially needed -- to help shore up the state's continuing decline of an arts infrastructure that has been painstakingly built through the sacrifice, generosity and vision of so many thousands of Vermont artists, board members, volunteers, donors and community activists during the past 40 years."
