Stage Review: Undeveloped subplots weaken 'Fire'
Post Gazette: "It's fair to ask of any play, but especially a new one, what story it tells. In 'Watching Fire, Watching Rain,' a new play by Samuel Hazo having its premiere at the Jewish Theatre of Pittsburgh, the story is about a self-obsessed emotional tyrant who has to learn that feelings matter, that other people have them, too, and that their obedience is not as satisfying as love."
