Stars and Songwriters Will Celebrate Sondheim at Roundabout Spring Gala 'Sondheim 80'
Yahoo! News: "Bernadette Peters, Barbara Cook, Vanessa Williams, Rita Moreno, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Duncan Sheik, Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey are among the artists who will pay tribute to composer-lyricist Stephen Sondheim at Roundabout Theatre Company's benefit Sondheim 80 on March 22."

I would love to go to this spring gala. It sounds amazing. Soundheim is one of my favorites. I love Sunday in the Park with George and Company. Bernadette Petters is absolutely amazing and it would be awesome to see her live. The ticket prices are outrageous but with something like this they always are. At the end of the article I was sure that if the ticket prices are so high that the money must be going towards something and I had to go back and skim the article. I was happy to find out that it is going to Roundabout Theatre Company's musical theatre fund. This is a good thing because Roundabout is an off-broadway theatre that has had financial trouble in the past. They have plays that takes chances with theatre pieces even if it won't be the most popular.
