I know that this is nitpicking, but I'm tired of all the Apple Apps that exist out their being pitched as iPhone Apps. I get that the iPhone is what brough about the app devolping craze, the the tech is the same as the one used in the iPod Touch (a device I am a huge fan of), but I really do wonder when you'd use most of the non game or social networking apps that are offered for the Apple products when you're not in a location that has WiFi.

Anyways, the apps that the article talks about seem to be pretty decent applications that, like many of the other apps out there, help speed along a process or two by streaming you information from a specific website(s). I was surprised that LinkedIn was not on the lest, especially since I've had significant success with that website, and consequently the application.

I think that it is pretty great how many companies have joined onto the app bandwagon. They are releasing more useful apps all the time and I think these are the perfect examples. In an economy where it is incredibly hard to find a job being able to see what is out there in other places is very helpful. Also having in your pocket gives you a certain edge on the competition that are using a computer. If these apps are properly maintained than this has to potential to really change the way people find jobs.
