As a person who expresses themselves and has a lot of self growth through their hair I am personally intrigues about this exhibit and wish I had the chance to see it. I know that hair and how it is treated and manipulated plays a very important role in many cultures and to have an exhibit highlight that and just that expressed thru art is honestly incredible. The piece in this exhibit that really jumped out at me was the last piece featured which contained a video of someone's hair being braided and unbraided. As a person who feels that hair is an incredibly human thing and a certeral point so so many cultures it was almost eerie to see hair represented in such a robotic and dehumanized way. I am curious how the general populis reacted to this exhibit if they found it gross or intriguing and what they had to say about their own head of hair after they were done.
