Comic Accused of Rape Sues UCB for Reverse Gender Discrimination

jezebel.com: Aaron Glaser, a comic who was banned from the Upright Citizens’ Brigade amid anonymous allegations of rape, which subsequently went viral, has—as promised—sued UCB, UCB artistic director Shannon O’Neill, and managing director Alex Sidtis in federal district court for allegedly failing to conduct a formal hearing process against Glaser, the New York Post reports. The suit claims negligence, gender discrimination, wrongful termination and a “hostile work environment.”

I'm actually quite confused as to how this case is actually taking place in a court of law. This seems like completely ridiculous to me. Similar to how reverse racism doesn't exist because people of color don't have any power in the structure of race, reverse gender discrimination can't exist for similar reasons. Glaser is still ultimately a man. There are a lot of things he could have sued for if he is truly not guilty of rape. He is admittedly suing for some of them. However, if he's so concerned about his reputation and ego, he should also sue for defamation of character.
This entire article made me disgusted with the utter disrespect that this man has for women. If he was a good person, he would first wonder what he could have done to make these accusers feel like they had been violated and assaulted in the worst way. I've been generally unimpressed with the reactions of men in this slew of sexual assault scandals but this one really takes the cake. I hope the judge in this case rules against him. Men like this can not be allowed to think that they have the right mindset.
