Oh my god that was so cool! I used to play percussion in band in middle school and a little bit in high school. In band at school there are many people that play percussion and each person usually has one instrument to play in a song. In the real world there is only one person to play all of those instruments. That was crazy how he was playing all of those different instruments and knew exactly when to play each one. That must take a lot of practice to be able to memorize an entire show like that. It definitely looks like a work out, running around the room while playing instruments with your mouth too. There is so much more work that goes into playing percussion in a pit than most people realize. All of those tiny weird sounds usually come from some sort of instrument and are not just a button on a keyboard. Many people might not notice the little sounds, but if they were not there something would seem a little weird to some people. Dances are usually choreographed very heavily to go with the percussion of a song, so percussionists need to be very accurate with all of the different instruments they play because there is probably a dance move that goes along with it.
