Even the sheer data from the MDNA show is impressive. No pictures necessary. It amazes me continually how TAIT not only completes their show goals to the designer's vision - they liquid cool it too. It's very apparent how beneficial bringing together employees from a broad area of backgrounds can result in a product that takes into account the limitations of each area of specialization to make a solid, reliable final product.

The specs of this show/rig are insane. After previously looking at the drawings that Tait released I didn't really grasp how big the show actually was, but this is pretty impressive. Also, I guess my personal preference in music has apparently limited my experience with "poppy flash-bang" performances that justify rigs like this.

WOW. So this is pretty awesome. Just reading every section makes my draw drop. I love theatre, but I would love to do a tour like this. More excitement, more adrenaline. Every aspect of this show seems like it has a wow factor. There might be the usual stuff, but why not make it a little more cutting edge. Seeing how all the components fit together and the new technology they incorporate, such as cooling, shows how our industry really progresses and incorporates so many aspects.

It is always cool to see how people work to create creative and unique sets for a concert. Few months ago, I have heard that Madonna is holding a concert for her twelfth album and I just forgot about that. And now looking at all of pictures of scenery that will be used in her concert, it is really cool. I love how they used a lot of media, like a projection of moving train to show dynamic movement. I was also surprised by how many people and time took to make a whole set. Especially, it is unbelievable to see that design time took longer than making time, showing how much time and effort the designer has to put in to make Madonna's work more stands out. I would love to see the combination of these sets, sounds, and lights coming in together and makes amazing concert someday.
