'History Boys' puts educational philosophies in spotlight

Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: "Pittsburgh Irish & Classical Theatre artistic director Andrew S. Paul loves the fact that he's staging 'The History Boys' in the shadow of the Cathedral of Learning.
Set during the mid-1980s, Alan Bennett's alternately moving, troubling and funny drama uses a group of British secondary school students prepping for a pivotal exam to explore questions such as why we study history, the purpose of education and the methods teachers use to advance long-term and short-range goals."
