Arbitrator Favors Jeremy Piven in ‘Speed-the-Plow’ Dispute
NYTimes.com: "The most famous fish story on Broadway reached its conclusion on Thursday after an arbitrator found that Jeremy Piven did not violate his contract when he withdrew from the revival of “Speed-the-Plow,” citing a case of mercury poisoning."

Although I obviously don't know all the details of this particular case, I can't help but think that Mr. Piven should have received more punishment for his actions than a mere slap on the wrist. Leaving a production so unexpectedly puts a lot of people in a very difficult position--which is something I think the general public may not be fully aware of. I don't doubt the validity of Mr. Piven's health condition, but I feel he could have dealt with it in a more tactful manner.
