Robots kiss, but don't go to second base (yet)
Crave - CNET: "With robots now doing everything from strutting the fashion catwalk to greeting hotel guests, it was only a matter of time before our humanoid friends started engaging in public displays of affection. Exhibit A: Thomas and Janet, two performance bots who made out publicly in front of hundreds during a December 2008 robotic production of 'Phantom of the Opera' in Taiwan (racy robot lip-lock video is only making the rounds now)."

OMG THIS IS SO COOL! actually, i kind of take that back. i think its facinating how technology is progressing so much. and how realistic the going in for the kiss looked. (after contact was made, it seemed very passionless).
But it also scares me about what robots can do to replace humans. I don't want to live in a robot controlled world where they teach classes and drive public transportation or act out the phantom of the opera instead of real people. But it still intestests me to see if they could emote at all for the rest of the show.
