Wilkin tops Broadway Across America
Variety: "BAA -- which presents touring incarnations of 'Wicked,' 'The Lion King' and 'Jersey Boys,' among others -- has recently upped its Gotham profile as part of an effort to play a more active role in producing the fare that it presents on the road. Org is credited as a producer on recent Rialto outings including 'Hair,' 'West Side Story' and 'Blithe Spirit.'"

From the little I know of Wilkin it seems like he will be pushing Broadway Across American in a positive direction. So far I have had the privilege of living in two cities, Boston and Pittsburgh, that seem to get the brunt of the Broadway touring circuit. Yet I feel I still have missed some major shows. More importantly I know too many people who live near 'Major Cities' that never see touring shows till the third or fourth leg of the tour. I am looking forward to an increase in quantity of shows and more destinations for the tours to go!
