Tony winners, Rockettes part of Broadway series
Post Gazette: "The 2008 Tony winners for Best Play, 'August: Osage County,' and Best Musical, 'In the Heights,' lead a PNC Broadway Across America lineup that doesn't scrimp on the fun. 'Young Frankenstein' and 'Xanadu' also are part of the roster, along with a new production of 'Dreamgirls' and the unrelenting but reliable 'Grease.'"

I'm so excited for the upcoming season; I definitely will see more shows next season than I did this time. I'm glad that Young Frankenstein and shows of the like are touring now so that those of us who didn't get to see their Broadway run can get the chance to. Also, I feel as if tours are getting more audiences these days because of the economy the way it is--it's a lot more convenient, cheaper, and easy to see a show uptown than it is to pay tons to stay in New York. Not to mention, it also stimulates local economy, at least to a certain degree.
