WGA Negotiators Eye Monday Strike

Backstage: "WGA negotiators Thursday night unanimously decided to bring a strike recommendation to their elected leadership Friday."

I think that it's good that SAG is standing with them on this because either way I would hope it makes things go faster. This could be really damaging to the industry if there is no one writing. As if there wasn't enough reality television.

I think WGA needs all the support from the sister unions that they can get. This will hit the rest of the industry quite hard, and the faster things can get back on track the better. The strike was headlining on CNN today, and there was an interesting interview with Tina Faye, who being both an actress and writer, is in a difficult spot.
