Understanding scale concept and units in Autocad…
Daily Autocad: "I wanted to write this article, which will help you to understand the AutoCAD’s working logic and learn some concepts like scale and unit, if you have just started using AutoCAD or if you are learning it by yourself."

I remember when I started out learning Autocad, I was so confused and stuck at units until someone came along and told me the trick of it.
The only problem I had with this article is that it uses the Metric System. I come from a place where we follow the English method of Metric. I am still getting used to the Feet and Inches measurements as it is.
In any case, this article is great for beginners in Autocad.
So yeah, article not too helpful, but it would be if it addressed the differences between AutoCAD and Vecroworks and how they handle units and scale. I spend the summer working in mm and that really through me off for a while. It drove me crazy this summer when people would CAD not to scale. Really it just meant that they were making things up, but they still could have used a scale and given some rough dimensions.
