Stage preview/South: 'Escanaba' takes a shot at the myth of The Hunt
Post Gazette: "'Escanaba in da Moonlight,' which opens next Thursday at Little Lake Theatre, deals with a topic close to many Western Pennsylvanians' hearts: deer hunting. Reuben Soady is the oldest man in the Soady clan never to have shot a buck, and in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, that's almost the same thing as not being a man at all. Reuben's desperation comes to a head during a family hunting trip, where he must face his fears as well as supernatural visitations and flatulence jokes."
