TV shows might make more money and easier than the theatre. Their income brought from the advertising sometimes is considerable if the show is very popular. As the screenwriters say "when you get paid, we get paid." Apparently, the society is not fair. Generally, people standing in front of audience are more noticed than those who work behind the scene. As a matter of fact, a show is unable to happen without people quietly working on preparation. The producer should know and remember it.

in all honesty i am excited to see what affect this has on television. i know we can expect to see a lot of reruns, but i don't really care, i don't watch tv that much, and when i do it is usually a pre-recorded series from awhile ago. i actually think this will be good for the american culture. maybe they will pay more attention to the real world and less to the fictitious ones that they are so caught up in.
