Conquering your fear of public speaking
CNET Blogs: "People fear public speaking more than anything else. Anxiety over a simple presentation can be debilitating. Moreover, sufferers are typically embarrassed and reluctant to admit they have a problem. They hide a deep concern about the phobia's affect on their careers in an industry that values presentation skills so highly."

I always feel like my public speaking fears are backwards. I have no trouble addressing large audiences, but instead the small, intimate audiences. I wish there were more articles about that. Anyway, this article was more like a pep talk a coach or friend gives a friend when they are studying the speech. In certain ways it was useful, but all and all it was an unsatisfactory piece. It was broad and general. In addition, it was all the advice I'd heard before. Instead of telling us to hire a speech coach, tell us what your coach told you.
Hello David,
Just making a wish to be confident, won’t take one anywhere. There must even deadlines to dreams as well. Self Confidence might mean differently for different age group people. A minimum level of self confidence is to be required for every task to be able to be executed.
When it comes Public speaking there are 5 things to keep in mind while giving speech. They are...
Who is listening to your speech - your audience?
How to start? - The beginning of your speech - your introduction
How to proceed and what to do next?
What are the highlights of your message?
The climax How to close the speech? What to do afterwards?.
