Broadway strike talks break down
Variety: "Negotiations between Broadway producers and stagehands broke off late Sunday night with no further talks skedded, and the Rialto productions darkened by the strike have been canceled through Nov. 25."

It's sad that a member of Local 1 died in the strike effort first of all, but also the fact that they are still striking! It's amazing how the overinflated ego of some of these people will 100% stop them from being able to work through this. The fact that either side just keeps walking away from the table to maintain face is absurd. I have to believe that with that much revenue being lost the city will not stand idle much longer.
