Metropolitan Opera Announces Designers For 2007-2008 Season

It's really exciting to see that so many of the designers are debuting. The season also sounds really exciting. I've never been to the Met Opera, but I would definitely love to. The three that are most appealing are Hansel and Gretel, the Benjamin Britten piece and the Philip Glass piece. It would be amazing if I could see one of them, plus I have never seen a professional production of an opera and it would be a great experience. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
Its really nice to like sarah said see so many new designers premiering however, I am more excited to see design wise what new twists the designer will put on these shows because some of them are such classics. Hopefully it will be something innovative but at the same time have the draw and detail which opera design is known for
