Labyrinth Theater - Philip Seymour Hoffman - John Ortiz - Jack Goes Boating
New York Times: "A decade ago, when Philip Seymour Hoffman and John Ortiz first shared the stage under the auspices of the Labyrinth Theater Company, the production — from casting to staging to programs — cost about $400. Rehearsals were held in apartments or, when the performers were lucky, in a rat-infested, semiabandoned theater on the far West Side. Part of the set — a bar — was on loan from the brother of one of the actors, and the rest was built or cobbled together by the actors themselves, who hung lights and wielded handsaws alongside their scripts."
