How much free Shakespeare in the park will future summers bring?

The Boston Globe: "A day after announcing it will present a shorter, less expensive run of Shakespeare on the Common this summer, the Citi Performing Arts Center said it remained committed to the free public production in the future, but doesn't know whether it will return to a longer run next year."

as an attendee of shakespeare in the park for the pst few summers i think its one of the most important theatre programs we have today. it is a way of opening the community up to poeple of all demographics...i think every big city should have sometype of shakepseare in the park tradition set up. it offers a basic way of lifelong education....
