'Harry Potter' star gets praise in breakout London stage role

Post Gazette: "That's enough about Harry Potter -- the distorting but inescapable lens through which a new London production of Peter Shaffer's 'Equus' will be viewed. The show marks the West End debut of Daniel Radcliffe, known to millions as the boy wizard in the film adaptations of J.K. Rowling's best-selling novels."

Exciting! Harry Porter will be performed lively in front of audience. In movie, it can be played trickly with animation technology. But how will be it put on stage ? Definitely, lots of hi-tech will be applied.
Also controversial issues, nude and smoke, happen on stage. Expecting...

i think its great that popular tween movie stars are also breaking out on the stage because it will help cause raise awareness about theatre and introduce a whoel new audience to the stage for reasons as simple as seeing "harry Potter" on stage... also it's good for the actors if they can convert a following or keep it regardless of the medium switch.

I think it's really great that Daniel Radcliffe is getting into something else other than Harry Potter. From what I gather, he sounds like a very good actor and I am glad that he has the chance to show it. The controversy over the show has brought it a lot of press and attention to Daniel and his work. I am very excited for him and hope his career continues to flourish!
