The great actor and drama alum Cherry Jones has agreed to visit the School of Drama for a one hour Q and A this coming Thursday. The session will be held in the Ruah Studio Theater.
TIME is to be confirmed – but count on some time between 2 and 4 PM. The faculty and staff is involved in a faculty meeting, but all students should be available. If possible, a 4 PM time will be confirmed, so that faculty and staff can attend, and we’ll be a complete community. Look for another email to confirm the final time once the company has let us know.
THE SESSION IS MANDATORY FOR ALL ACTORS AND DIRECTORS.
Please understand that the short notice is a reflection of the company manager’s inability to confirm the visit earlier. Ms Jones was out of DOUBT for a number of shows last week, and until her health stabilized, the company was unwilling to pledge her energy.

I'm really excited for Cherry's visit mostly because I can actually go to the Q and A. Most of the time it's during Stagecraft and it's actually someone that I'd love to meet and hear speak. This is why I was glad that Phylicia Rashad's visit was the way it was because instead of running around Purnell everywhere EXCEPT where they were.
