It becomes increasingly more frustrating as high ranking (white) men are exempt and excused from accusations of sexual assault or harassement due to their positions of power. It is also very unfortunate these men believe, that because of the position of authority and importance that they hold, they take advantage of lower ranking individuals, using their power as blackmail sometimes. The fact Disney decided to brush the accusations off and say they have no official documentation of the incident, is equally as disturbing and frustrating. When incidents regarding Lasseter arose, Disney took action. The action taken did seem to be a hasty, slap a band-aid on it resolution, but at least it was addressed. It is frustrating companies, especially large, blockbuster companies, do not seem to care about their employees well being and safety when it comes to making money and success. I understand the point of a company is to do just that, make as much money as possible, but does it have to come at the price of your employees?
