It was a bit of a bloody splash. Wegrzyn's pitch-black comedy, 'The Butcher of Baraboo,' was a piece of Upper Midwestern Gothic featuring gore, eccentricity, small-town intrigue, a possible murder and a prominently wielded meat cleaver."
