After watching a few of this guys videos and looking at his blog for a little longer than I had time for I have come to the conclusion that this guys is awesome. He is a class A tinkerer and I love that. By growing up with two artist parents, loving theater and studying engineering (even for a little) is the perfect combination for a great theater practitioner, especially a props master. Being a props master combines artistic skill with smart design. Sure finding just the right table is not that hard but when that table needs to be danced on, later broken and has to be on wheels all while having a decretive mural on the top, then you need a master props master like Eric Hart. I would love to have the daily challenge of a props master, I have always thought that would be fun for me, but I am not as strong on the drawing and painting side which make me concerned that I will not do so well in that field.
