A Wireless Mic Guide for the Church Tech
ChurchProduction.com: Regarding the forthcoming auction of radio frequency spectrum in the United States and its impact on wireless microphone use in your church, please be aware:
This crossover in fields amazes me. I go to church on Sundays when I'm not in a theatre and it always blows my mind how much technology is used and I am often reminded how useful it is for the church to have someone who really knows their stuff. They use mixers, mics, lighting instruments, and various other equipment you'd never consider like projections and TONS of power tools for the new series every few months. I wish more people from churches would visit conferences like USITT just for the workshops when they would be able to understand the equipment they're using. They often use more basic versions, but it would be amazing for them to be able to learn a few more basics to better help their church out.
