I'm so glad that Cirque has found some more investors to keep their production alive. To me, Cirque is a really unique and creative circus performance because it focuses on a story and on people. This is great for many reasons. One, for many people, the term "circus" has a negative connotation. It's dirty, they hurt animals, it's a little bit creepy, etc. Cirque provides that traditional circus like experience, but also providing a safe, and universally fun environment. You still get the wonder, the stunts, the contortionists, ...but it doesn't feel dirty and gross to be there. Also the sense of story telling that Cirque provides is a really unique, and it can't be found in the same way at any other circus type show in the world.
