At Washington Theater, Imagining Scalia

NYTimes.com: Justice Antonin Scalia, meet Justice Antonin Scalia.
One highlight of the 65th season at Arena Stage in Washington, D.C., is to be “The Originalist,” a political drama by John Strand, about the working relationship between a liberal Harvard Law School-educated clerk and Justice Scalia.

It's very interesting, and also very odd, to me that there is a play being produced that so prominently features a person that is still living. I wonder what Scalia himself would think of it too, it must be an interesting experience to see yourself portrayed by someone else. I'd also be curious to see if there will be much interest in the play, given the political nature of it. I remember learning in a government class about political interest and efficacy, and based on the description of the play in this article alone, it doesn't seem like the kind of show that would really generate a large audience.
