‘The Service Road’ at the Voorhees Theater
NYTimes.com: “The Service Road” by Erin Courtney conjures an eerie landscape that follows its own rules and dares you not to believe in it. The setting is Prospect Park, but imbued with dark enchantment, and fertile ground for Ms. Courtney’s investigations into self-recrimination and forgiveness.

This certainly looks like an interesting production. I'd be interested to learn more about how the real time projection of the faces onto the toddlers works. The play, from its description seems to have an absurd or unrealistic nature, but what is intriguing is the fact that the author claimed the internal structure to feel very complete. I'm not doubting the completeness of absurdist plays, but it seems like things are getting more and more cloudy these days as far as the abstract ideas new works are presenting. The aspect of the journey of a single person sounds relatable and I would't mind seeing the production.
