New York City dance company energizes, mesmerizes

Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: "Complexions, the New York City-based contemporary ballet company, is irresistible. At Saturday night's performance for Pittsburgh Dance Council, the dancers' vibrant performances drew on seemingly endless reserves of high octane energy, while the pieces they performed addressed a wide variety of life's issues."

I find it interesting that this group can be so new and refreshing in an art that sometimes can have trouble creating a concrete fan base or at least an expanding one. I know that personally as much as I can appreciate dance and can usually enjoy it, after a while I find that it can get repetitive. So it is really nice to see a group try to break out of that rut and make a show exciting again.
