Funny Bone has hosted many a rising star

Post Gazette: "Phone calls from Jay Leno and surprise visits from Robin Williams are just a couple of the memorable moments from the Funny Bone's first 28 years."

One would think that with economic hardship, people would want to see comedy. A night out to laugh and forget reality does not have to be only for good times. It is great to see a place like Funny Bone that has been in existence for a relatively long period of time.
Even though it couldn't afford to keep its place in Station Square, it is always good to see an organization try to pull through rather than bailing on the industry.

It's great to read articles about people starting out in Pittsburgh. I had no idea that comedy club had such a wide range of acts over the years. It's unfortunate they've suffered with the economy just like everyone, but it's a good strategy to relocate and lessen your overall costs.
