Build Virtual Lego Models On Your Computer With Lego Digital Designer
MakeUseOf.com: "LEGO is a timeless toy that generations have enjoyed around the world. Back in 2003, LEGO released a free software tool called LEGO Digital Designer. The easiest way to describe it is to say that it is a CAD tool that uses LEGO bricks to perform the design."

I grew up on Lego and still have several GIANT plastic containers full of Lego. This program does seem nice in that you can find the damn brick you're looking for in the right color too. But the fun part about Lego is the organic process. Each piece is put in place by hand. Wobbly towers need to be restructured, and top heavy objects need to fixed. With this there is no gravity and no digging through a massive bin to find the piece you want. Also there is no movement in this program. Lego is fun with gears and and systems that interact with the environment. This program has none of that charm. The only reason I would use this is to order bricks for a specific project, but other than that this program sucks the whole point and the funness out of Lego
