9 to 5 a wild and witty stage musical
Reuters: "Actually, the film always was a musical waiting to happen, and Parton has made the most of the opportunity. Her songwriting skills along with her desire to dazzle in whatever she does were made for Broadway, which is where the show is headed in April."

I have to admit that I was skeptical about this musical. Based on the review I was wrong, the songs sound fun and upbeat. And the charachters have depth and complexity. This sounds like a good show.
I am also excited about this show. It sounds like it attacks important issues but in a fun and enjoyable way, which is in my mind ideal. I think it will be very exciting to see this show grow and move to New York, especially with such a great cast premiering it.
It's goof to hear the show came together in the end. Dolly's interview with extra was enough to sell me on the show.
I don't mean to sound bitter or anything but it amazes me how there is no creativity left in the world. Never will we stop doing remakes or making movies into musicals. It seems like it will never end...
Alright, I know I just wrote about how pissed I was about stage adaptation hitting Broadway, but I think this story will transfer well onto the stage since it's just something silly and is meant to be nothing more than that. Still believe in my views on Broadway's new path, but I admit that I wouldn't mind dishing out a few bucks for this show. Even though there's no Dolly Parton has the sexy secretary.
