Meet People NOT Business Cards

lifehack.org: "There’s nothing especially important about a business card. They contain information (often too much) that should help one get back to somewhere, but they are a bookmark. They are a way back to the conversation. But they are NOT the conversation."

Wow, I really liked this article, especially the section about human to human and how it is important to remember that behind all this paper and new technology, there are still humans. I get so frustrated with myself and others sometimes for relying so much on the technology sitting around. It makes it so easy to hide behind a computer and never have to come face to face with people and problems. I've considered taking away my internet for a select amount of time, just to force myself to be out there, but unfortunately so much is based on the internet right now. However, as the weather gets nicer, I am sure I will be wanting to spend more time outside and less behind a screen.
