Famed indie film institute develops works for the stage

Show Business Weekly: "But the Sundance Institute, which was founded by Robert Redford in 1981, fosters more than just emerging artists for the screen. In fact, many performers are surprised to learn that the institute runs three separate programs aimed at developing new voices for the stage."

I had no idea that Sundance was developing things for the stage. I think its a great thing that such an influential group is involved with multiple types of entertainment. I would love to see the kinds of stuff that these workshops turn out in the future.
