Were Critics Enchanted by Jessica Lange in the West End's Glass Menagerie?
Theatre.com: "Jessica Lange previously played Amanda Wingfield in Tennessee Williams’ The Glass Menagerie on Broadway in 2005, in a production that did not receive universal critical praise and ran for 120 performances. Now the Oscar winner is revisiting the role at London’s Apollo Theatre in a new production directed by Rupert Goold and also starring Ed Stoppard as her son Tom, Amanda Hale as daughter Laura and Mark Umbers as the Gentleman Caller. Did British critics welcome Lange and her co-stars more fondly this time? "
