WSAV On Your Side: Some local filmmakers are blazing a trail to promote safety on movie sets, as they remember the tragic accident that took the life of 27 year old Sarah Jones in February.
It was on the set of filming 'Midnight Rider' in Jesup, that Jones, a camera assistant, was struck and killed by a train.
Savannah Filmmakers held their first panel discussion on Saturday as a set safety conversation-starter. Filmmakers say the Jones accident was really a wake-up call.
