This development of the real lightsaber is so cool to me. Disney Imagineers never fail to amaze me with the work that they do. They are always raising the bar of innovation higher and higher with everything that they come up with and they create such an amazing experience for everyone that visits their parks. I have always been really interested in developing these types of environments like Disney does. They think of every detail and produce it to the max to give the visitors the most authentic and genuine experience possible. This Star Wars themed 2 night experience in the park seems like a really cool and exciting idea. There are so many die-hard Star Wars fans that would absolutely love to have this opportunity to be immersed in this world. I am really looking forward to the way that Disney comes back after the pandemic is managed and what more they continue to develop for their park visitors.

Oh my goodness! They've finally done it. Every single time I see disney making a lightsaber prop I get so upset that no one has found a way to make it for real. Disney has some of the greatest creative minds working for them, so having a breakthrough like this felt like a given. I am so excited to one day see this in person. I am so impressed by disney imagineering, specifically for Star Wars, when I got to Disneyland or watch a Disney movie. I have such fond memories of looking around the Star Wars museum in Tomorrowland, where they have models and props and everything you could think of wanting to see that is related to Star EWars. It is something so special. I love Disney, and they are truly brilliant to have developed something with this much complicated technology, all to make Disney adults have a more authentic time. I love it.

Honestly, I would not consider myself a Star Wars fan since I haven’t seen all the movies, but I am so impressed by this! I was lucky enough to go see galaxy’s edge before everything shut down and I remember how amazing it was even for me. It felt like you were just dropped down into the universe. A lot of that is due to all the incredible details they put in it from the painted walls that look aged to the soundscape played throughout the land. This new addition plus the “real” light saber is going to take this to the next level which is crazy to even imagine. I might have to do a movie marathon of all the films before I go just so I can have an even better experience and spot all the easter eggs and nods to the films. 2022 is seriously coming up!
