'Super Nintendo World' Will Have Real-Life Mario Kart

The Mary Sue: Super Nintendo World still doesn’t sound real to me. It sounds like a fantasy park my kid self would try and manifest into existence because a classmate’s uncle worked at Nintendo and swore it was real. Turns out that classmate was right several decades later (about the park, not the uncle) because Nintendo’s theme park is ready to let’s a go!

Okay, I can’t remember where I learned this information (no it was not from this article), but I somehow knew that Nintendo and Universal Studios had teamed up to create some sort of theme park, I think it might’ve been Animal Crossing, but I can’t remember, wither way wow I am so excited for this! First of all, super mario is a part of everyone’s childhood. I feel like to some degree, mario is just such a nostalgic element, so I feel like this theme park is going to attract all kinds of people from different ages and all over the world. I think this is such an idea because both are powerful companies, so when they collaborate to do something as big as a super-mario theme park, you know you can expect great things. I can’t wait for it to open and I really hope to experience this one day because it would make my childhood dreams come true.

Learning more and more about the Super Nintendo World is so entertaining! It’s kind of crazy to think that this park will be opening up in just two months considering the pandemic, though Japan is doing SIGNIFICANTLY better in terms of cases and deaths than we are here in the United States. On another note, I’ve always had a lot of fun playing Mario Kart with my friends (despite not really being too good at the game) and getting to do that at a theme park would be great! I really hope I get to visit here someday soon. I’m also looking forward to learning about the other areas of the park and what else they’ve added. I really hope that they decide to add a Nintendo Themed world based on Breadth of the Wild too, cause that’s one of my favorite games and the things they could do with the towns, shrines, nature, etc. would be so cool.
