Skilsaw MeduSaw Concrete Worm Drive

Pro Tool Reviews: When was the last time you thought it would be a good idea to take your Skilsaw to concrete cutting applications? At first glance, this might seem like a rather amateur question. The game is changing though and the new Skilsaw MeduSaw Concrete Worm Drive is going to change the way you look at concrete cutting.

When I saw this article and the picture of this little tiny circular saw next to the word concrete, I was intrigued. Whenever I walk around and see construction workers cutting into concrete, they have an absolutely enormous saw that's practically half their size. To think that the average Joe can just go along and cut concrete now is pretty damn cool. Especially with this new Worm Drive system that Skilsaw is creating, they can make some powerful tools as seen with this concrete circ saw. What I want to know is, is the medusaw able to be converted to cut ordinary materials such as wood? $400 is a lot to drop on a handheld power tool that's only going to sit there for when you need to cut concrete. And how often does that happen? Plus, this saw has plenty of great features that you can use while cutting wood too including the rubber leg. All-in-all, it's great seeing massive improvements in torque in smaller tools that we're used to working with and I'm sure the saw does an impressive job if your specialty is concrete.
